tlTerm: A robust terminology program that lets you create and manage multiple databases with definitions

tlTerm is a friendly utility that can help professional translators and terminologists to easily create and edit term lists. The application offers full support for Unicode characters and all existing languages.

To create a new term list in the program, you’ll have to select the languages you want to use. Then, you can select the relevant fields for your project, such as Subject, Definition, Term, Part of Speech and so on. Once the project has been created, you can insert as many entries as you want.

The application shows a real-time preview of the created entry, so you can see all the fields. You can also perform online web and image searches for any of the terms you added in tlTerm.

Thanks to multi-user support, the program is perfect for team work as it allows you to see the user who added each term.

Users can import existing termbases from TBX files with editing options. As far as exporting goes, you can save your projects as HTML, CSV, XML or ODBC files. The app also integrates with Microsoft Word, allowing users to search for the selected word in the termbase, as well as offering terminological consistency in each document.
